BREEMA® CERTIFICATION

Harmonious Life is the center in Spain approved by the BREEMA® Center in Oakland, California.

Pioneers in BREEMA®, our center In Barcelona is approved to certify therapists who wish to become practitioners and instructors of this bodywork therapy that based on a holistic and global perspective.

We offer different options for obtaining BREEMA® practitioner certification—weekly classes, weekend workshops, and (modalidad libre)—after which the student must complete two intensive courses approved by the BREEMA® Center in Oakland, California

PROGRAM FOR BREEMA® PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION

*Up to a maximum of 100 class hours (in classes approved for Transfer Credit taught by any Certified BREEMA® Instructor), 50 or more class hours at BREEMA® Center Sponsor Intensives.

**The Anatomy and Physiology classes can be validated with those of another school or program or can be completed through an online course of the BREEMA® Center. *

**Touch Support Meetings with a designated Instructor will be set by the BREEMA® Center following the student’s registration in the Practitioner Certification Program. ****Support Meetings with members of the Certification Committee (for those students who are completing the program without attending classes at the BREEMA® Center.

+First resumé: after completing about 25 hours of class. Second resumé: after completing about 75 hours of class. Third resumé: after completing about 100 hours of class. Fourth resumé: after completing about 125 hours of class. Fifth resumé: after completing about 150 hours of class.

IMPORTANT: the practitioner certification is not guaranteed when one has completed the hours requirement. It is only granted after the Certification Committee is satisfied that the student is prepared to practice and represent BREEMA® adequately and safely. This implies that the student must clearly demonstrate sufficient practical understanding of the Principles and Philosophy of BREEMA® in their practice of BREEMA® as well as their way of speaking and writing about BREEMA®

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Every student who wishes to become a Certified BREEMA® Practitioner must enroll directly through the BREEMA® Center by filling out an application. The application forms are available from the BREEMA® Center office and can be sent by mail or filled out online at the BREEMA® Center website breema.com/enroll.

For the required 150 Breema class hours: You need 50 Intensive hours at any Breema Center Intensive, or 50 EU Intensive hours since January 2016 (Graz, Bühl, Barcelona). The 100 remaining required class hours can be a combination of Breema Center classes/ Intensives or offsite Breema classes that have been approved for Transfer Credit. If you wish to receive credit for attending approved Transfer Credit offsite classes, please have the Instructor send a transcript of your class hours to the Breema Center.

A: This is a 20-minute Breema session that you give outside of Breema classes, and for which you fill out and submit a Breema Session Report form. After each session, send your completed Report to the Breema Center. Sessions are to be done (and Reports submitted) after completing 25, 75, 100, 125, and 150 class hours. The Report form is available online, or you can request copies from the Breema Center office.

Yes. You can submit them based on the hours you already have. For example, if you already have 100 hours of transferable classes,

give a fourth Breema Session and submit its Report, and so on.
